RAIN!!!! And lots of it!
Within less than a mile we were soaked through, but thankfully not cold since the temperature was around 71 degrees. We were worried about slick roads and possible flooding but luckily escaped those obstacles.
Our little friend here narrowly escaped being flattened- I moved him away from the middle of the road. I think the water running in the road lured him out.
Due to the rain we couldn’t really see the landscape. We could, however, enjoy the super roly poly roads – like being on a roller coaster!
So love all your entries!! Keep up the amazing dialogue. Routing you on from Glen Arbor, MI. Wish we could have met you in MO! Xoxo
NFBJAs – a new acronym for me! Keep safe. Watching you all the way – epic I say again.
Hi you two amazing cyclists have just caught up with your great blog it makes for really interesting reading. So many sights, some not so good but others fascinating. Also love all the facts & figures along the way,you should think about making this into a book when you finally get your bums on a soft seat.Really enjoying it all & hope you two are as well, although the scary dogs chasing you sound really awful.,along with inconsiderate drivers. However I think on balance you have more good encounters than bad & hope that continues.
Amazing journey keep up the good solid effort & plough onwards.
Lots of love to you both & to Sue & Brad,
Absolute super troopers one and all 💕💕❤️😘
