Day 24 – Kremmling, CO to Breckenridge, CO – 59 miles

Loooooove Breckenridge!

As we cycled the mountains got bigger, greener and, well, more mountain-like rather than roly poly. We’re pretty high up here – 9660 feet. We were going to try for the extra 10 miles to summit the 11,500’ Hoosier Pass but decided to mooch around town instead, get acclimated and try tomorrow.

We met Mark’s brother Bruce and his wife Terry for dinner. They drove from Denver to meet us for the evening. It was so nice to catch with them.

Terrific Blue River Trail from Silverthorne area into Breckenridge

Great guitarist at the restaurant
