Beautiful vistas, a pickup truck driver who escorted us through a tunnel driving slowly behind us, the scary but dramatic narrow bike-laned Astoria Bridge over the mouth of the Columbia, peaceful backroads and the Astoria River Walk, and a happy dog in a VW bus.
